Hello and welcome to your first edition of Kiddywinks nursery news for 2011.
From now on all mail outs will now be attached to your monthly invoice, it is important you sign and return the invoice payment slip / monthly mail out slip provided along with your method of payment; this is so we can monitor the new system and to make sure all parents have received a copy of all information.
We do endeavour to make sure all information regarding the nursery is passed on and displayed on all notice boards around the nursery.
Mail outs and notice boards contain specific and important information about nursery activities taking place, changes to nursery and government policies, terms and conditions and general information and updates concerning your children.
Babies
The baby room would like to welcome the new intake of babies and their families to the room; we have all been enjoying lots of messy play activities such as cooked pasta and gloop! Please look at our board for new photos of us enjoying ourselves.
Toddlers
We would also like to welcome the new children to our room and a big welcome back to Kate Righton after her maternity leave. Also congratulations to Kelly and Kyle on the safe arrival of Amylia-Mai. The children have been enjoying exploring outside and at the moment painting seems to be a favourite activity.
Pre- School 1
Please could the children in Pre-School 1 bring some photos of their pets and families in as we are making our own word and object books. We have been using our senses to explore different fruits
Pre-School 2
Pre-School 2 are developing the home corner at the moment so if you have any kitchen utensils such as pots and pans, large spoons etc that would be very helpful. This will help us to look at different materials and their uses.
A big reminder to all rooms to bring warm and outdoor clothing for days in the garden and walks
After School Club
After school club have been enjoying ‘Wellington Wednesdays’, art and crafts in which we’ve looked at the work of Monet. In the next few weeks Mr Chris will be introducing the children to some mad science activities. Lego still seems to be a favourite and we have a few young architects in the making!
